Sidwell & Gabel Show Steer & Heifer Sale

This year we are offering an elite group of show steers and heifers hand-selected from over 200 AI-sired calves. Sires represented include Heatwave, Sunseeker, About Time, Friction, and Texas Hold Em. Last year's offering proved to be a competitive group, with families achieving success at both local and national levels. We appreciate the opportunity to work with many great families and are thankful for your loyal business!

Sale Location & Directions

The sale will be held at Jerry and Linda Sidwell's barn, 28491 WCR 64.5, Gill CO 80624.

From Highway 85: Travel to the town of Lucerne (north of Greeley). From Lucerne, head east on highway 392 about 9 miles to Weld County Road 57 (dirt). Turn south (right) on 57 and travel 1.5 miles to Weld County Road 64.5. Turn east (left) on 64.5 and travel one half mile to the second place on the left.

From I-25: Take the Windsor exit. Turn East on Hwy 392 and travel through Windsor to the town of Lucerne. Follow directions from Highway 85 above.

From Sterling: Travel west on Highway 14 to the town of Briggsdale. Take Hwy 392 south (this is the paved road on the west side of Briggsdale). 392 will eventually turn west. Travel to Weld County Road 57 (dirt). Turn south (left) on 57 and travel 1.5 miles to Weld County Road 64.5. Turn east (left) on 64.5 and travel one half mile to the second place on the left.

From Kersey: Travel north from the Texaco in Kersey across the river to the Gill road (a "T" in the pavement). Turn east (right) on the pavement. The road will turn north and go past the town of Gill. Take the paved road on the south edge of Gill through town (it will turn north and then east). Travel east of Gill (you will be on Weld County Road 64.5) past road 57. After 57 continue to travel east about one half mile to the second place on the left.
